Lindsey Kremmel, PhD

About

I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in the state of California since 2009. My license number is PSY22875.

I received my Doctorate degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2008 (accredited by the American Psychological Association) and my Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in 2001. I completed my Post-Doctoral Residency at Kaiser Permanente Psychiatry Department in Fremont, California in 2009. I worked at Kaiser Permanente from 2009-2020  in Union City, California. I have been in Private Practice since 2011.

My theoretical approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I use a variety of techniques and theories. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Mindfulness, Insight-Oriented, Compassion-Focused, Attachment-Based, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Narrative Therapies. Don’t worry if you don’t know what any of that means. Just know that I am flexible in my approach based on your unique needs and goals. My style is compassionate, interactive, and collaborative. You can expect me to listen supportively, ask questions and offer new ways to address your concerns. Therapy is an active process and I enjoy collaborating with each client as a team to reach the goals we have agreed upon.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA),  the Alameda County Psychological Association (ACPA) and the Contra Costa County Psychological Association (CCPA).

My gender pronouns are she/her.  (Click here to learn more)
